A resource from CAMH which was adapted from the piece "Assessment and management of suicide risk" in Psychiatry in primary care by Marilyn A. Craven and Paul S. Links (2019).

"The Suicide Risk Assessment Guide: A Resource for Health Care Organizations, was prepared by the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) in partnership with the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI) as a general guide to help health care organizations with understanding and standardizing the practice of high quality suicide risk assessment"

A toolkit developed by the National Institute of Mental Health that includes tip sheets as well as videos. The ASQ toolkit also consists of youth and adult versions as some of the materials take into account developmental considerations.

An in-depth guide that not only offers an overview of suicide and self harm, but provides insight into the contents of a suicide risk assessment, as well.

As part of the evidence-based resource guide series, this report was created by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to assist with disseminating information on evidence-based practices and service delivery models about suicide prevention.

A guide compiled by the Government of British Columbia "to provide Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) practitioners with up-to-date guidelines that will support their therapeutic work with children and youth at risk for suicide and suicidal behaviours. These guidelines describe recommended approaches for assessing and responding to suicidal behaviours among children and youth aged 19 and under, with a specific focus on community based prevention and treatment contexts".
