EBSCOHost research database alerts

Google Scholar alerts

Google Scholar indexes most peer-reviewed journals, as well as books, conference papers and presentations, theses and dissertations, and other scholarly works. Google Scholar is both easy to search and free to use, and is thus a good option for tracking research in your field.

You can set up any number of custom alerts in order to receive e-mails based on specific search queries.

After entering your search terms, click on "Create Alert" on the left sidebar menu to receive e-mails about future publications that match your query.

You can also create alerts for publications that are related to the work of leading scholars.

For example, if you would like to receive alerts about research that is related to the work of Nico Trocmé, you would visit visit the Google Scholar profile of Nico Trocmé and then click on "Follow." In the pop-up window that appears, select "New articles related to this author’s research”.
